Caregiver Spotlight
Lindi has been an invaluable part of the Aging My Way Team for 5 years. We can always count on Lindi to bring her positive energy and to always go above and beyond when it comes to client care. “It has been very fulfilling to be able to assist someone enabling them to maintain their independence. The variety of things that I have been able to do and the personal connections that I have made, is what makes this position so rewarding. I truly enjoy meeting and getting to know so many different people. I have lived, worked and raised my family in the Tri Cities. In addition to my work with Aging My Way I also spend my time as a community volunteer with a local Scout Group.”

The care providers are our employees – they have been interviewed, screened and background-checked, trained and oriented, bonded and insured. Most importantly, each and every one of our care providers must be dependable, warm, and caring people. Many of our staff members have extensive training and experience caring for individuals that are living with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Aging My Way Home Care provides our care providers with comprehensive training programs. Offering this training further boosts their skills, allowing them to become some of the best the industry has to offer. Our care providers have access to our exclusive Certified Companion Aide (CCA®) and Certified Hospice Companion Aide (CHCA®) programs. The CCA® designation elevates their knowledge and status in the industry and instills in them the highest standards of caregiver professionalism. The CHCA® specialized training program was designed by a hospice nurse and educates caregivers on death and dying, how to assist patients and hospice nurses with end of life care, and prepares them for the emotional consequences of caring for the terminally ill. Our care providers receive continuous training through this one-of-a-kind curriculum, to help meet our goal for them to remain the bar-setting home care professionals in the community.

“I could not be happier working as a caregiver for Aging My Way. Roberta, Rebecca, Sheilah and the rest of the AMW team have been incredibly supportive and encouraging. The training I have received has been extensive and they value our input. No matter what time of day, they are available to answer any questions or concerns. I have never seen a care provider that is as knowledgeable in many different aspects of care as they are.”
